Right to Left support

Newlook has basic built-in support for right-to-left languages.

Right-to-left mode is automatically enabled when certain Arabic or Hebrew code pages are used in the CCSID of the connection definition. Once the connection is established, the client will automatically switch to right-to-left mode for any entry capable fields. In addition, default text alignment and direction is reversed.

Support for right-to-left introduced in Newlook Server in Version 11.0.5.

Arabic

• 420 - Arabic bilingual
• 425 - Arabic bilingual
• 16804 - Arabic with euro

Hebrew

• 424 - Hebrew
• 12712 - Hebrew with euro
